BOMB IT Space Invader



A different type of street art. Space Invader uses the same argument as Banksy to justify his work. He tells us that his graffiti is to look nice and make people happy and argues that the advertising posters we see everywhere don't look nice and are there to make us buy things.

I painted this tiny acrylic portrait after one of my favorite artists, Egon Schiele. Remember it is not always necessary or desirable to be realistic with the colours you use. Colours create mood and provoke emotion to make us look at an image differently.
